SPF 50
Sunscreen is the most important thing you can do to protect yourself from the sun. But what does SPF mean?
SPF stands for Sun Protection Factor, and it’s a measurement that tells you how much time it takes for your skin to burn when exposed to ultraviolet (UV) radiation.
The higher the SPF number, the more protection you get from UVB rays.
SPF 50 sunscreen blocks 98 percent of UVB rays; SPF 100 blocks 99 percent. When used correctly.
Sunscreen with SPF values between 30 and 50 offers adequate sunburn protection, even for people most sensitive to sunburn.
High SPF products may pose greater health risks.
Sun Lotion SPF 50
Sunscreen is a must-have for your skin. It’s important to remember that the SPF rating on sunscreen is a measure of how well it protects against sunburn, not cancer or other health risks.
Properly applied SPF 50 sunscreen blocks 98 percent of UVB rays; SPF 100 blocks 99 percent.
When used correctly, sunscreen with SPF values between 30 and 50 offers adequate sunburn protection, even for people most sensitive to sunburn. High SPF products may pose greater health risks.

The FDA recommends using an SPF of at least 30 when spending time outdoors during the day or any time there is potential for overexposure to the sun’s ultraviolet radiation.
However, many people don’t use enough sunscreen when they’re out in the sun and get burned anyway.
The American Academy of Dermatology recommends applying one ounce (about two tablespoons) of lotion over your entire body every two hours during peak sun hours–roughly between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
And reapplying every two hours after swimming or sweating heavily in hot weather conditions such as those experienced in summer months here in Southern California
