Cooking: per portion boil 1lt of water and 1/2 tsp salt, then stir in 100g Gluten Free Organic Buckwheat Penne . Boil for 5 minutes and carefully taste the pasta every minute until it is ‘al dente’. Drain and serve immediately.

Buckwheat Pasta with Garlic and Olive Oil
Ingredients:
– 8 ounces (about 225g) buckwheat pasta
– 3 tablespoons olive oil
– 4 cloves garlic, minced
– 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
– Salt and pepper to taste
– Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
– Grated Parmesan cheese (optional, for serving)
Instructions:
1. Cook the buckwheat pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving about 1/2 cup of the pasta cooking water.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes (if using). Sauté for 1-2 minutes until the garlic is fragrant and just starting to turn golden brown.
3. Add the cooked buckwheat pasta to the skillet. Toss gently to coat the pasta evenly with the garlic-infused olive oil. If the pasta seems dry, add a splash of the reserved pasta cooking water to loosen it up.
4. Season the pasta with salt and pepper to taste. Toss well to combine.
5. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together and the pasta to heat through.
6. Remove from heat and transfer the buckwheat pasta to serving plates.
7. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and grated Parmesan cheese, if desired.
8. Serve the buckwheat pasta with garlic and olive oil hot, accompanied by a simple green salad or your favorite vegetables.
